About Me

My passion for production sound began while studying at Alchemea College of Audio Engineering in London, where I discovered the unique intersection of technical craft and cinematic storytelling. Since graduating, I’ve built a career capturing sound for feature films, television, documentaries, and commercials.

My work spans productions of every scale, with credits including The Flight Attendant, Washington Black, Heart of Stone, Thin Ice, Cold Haven, Afturelding (Balls), Stella Blómkvist, and the feature film Ljósvíkingar (Odd Fish), for which I received a nomination for Best Sound at the Icelandic Film Awards. My documentary work includes Religion of Sports, This Is Football, A Song Called Hate, and Mars: One Day on the Red Planet.

Whether working independently or leading a larger sound team, my focus is always the same: delivering exceptional production sound through careful preparation, technical excellence, and a collaborative approach. I believe the best results come from becoming involved as early as possible in the production process, allowing time to prepare thoroughly, anticipate challenges, and establish efficient workflows. From pre-production through to post, I work closely with directors, producers, and editorial to ensure the sound department supports the creative vision every step of the way.

I own and maintain a state-of-the-art production sound package, together with a fully equipped sound van, enabling me to provide reliable, scalable solutions for productions ranging from intimate documentaries to large-scale drama.

 

Above all, I aim to be a calm, dependable presence on set - capturing clean, natural dialogue while helping every production run as smoothly as possible.
